About the volunteering opportunity
The aim of the neighborhood assistance in the Konradviertel is to ensure that people can live independently in old age for as long as possible.
To strengthen the team, we are looking for volunteers who would like to help older people on a voluntary basis.
Your Tasks
The tasks range from shopping services to accompanying people to the doctor's. The following services are mainly provided by Neighborhood Help:
- Assistance with shopping
- Accompaniment during visits to the doctor and authorities
- Accompaniment on walks
- Company and entertainment
- Little help in the house or garden (in case of illness)
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.

The district meeting point is a contact point for citizens of all age groups, cultures and religious affiliations in the Konradviertel. Visitors can take advantage of targeted advice, educational, preventative, language, creative and cultural services and get involved in civic activities.
