About the volunteering opportunity

Helping hands wanted for Audi refreshment stand!

For the 25th anniversary of the Ingolstadt Half Marathon, Audi will be taking over its own refreshment stand along the course on May 9, 2026. In Klenzepark - just two kilometers before the finish line - the aim is to motivate the numerous runners of the fitness run, half marathon and relay teams over the last few meters and provide them with drinks and snacks. 

Spectators, participants and volunteers can look forward to a rousing anniversary on May 9, 2026, a celebration full of movement, encounters and enthusiasm, top sporting performance and a strong sense of community. Audi is right in the middle of it as a strong partner - for our team and for our home region.

Your Tasks

As part of the team at the Audi refreshment stand

  • prepare drinks and snacks together with your team before the start,
  • hand them out to the runners of the fitness run and half marathon
  • and help dismantle the refreshment stand afterwards.

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
fun and joy in working together for the athletes and for the region. 

What to bring

Dress appropriately for the weather. Helpers' shirts and refreshments will be provided. You will receive further information after your registration.

Halbmarathon Ingolstadt GbR

The Ingolstadt Half Marathon will be celebrating its 25th anniversary next year. More than 6,000 runners from Germany and abroad are expected to take part - from ambitious athletes to hobby runners. The 21.1-kilometre course runs along the banks of the Danube, through the city center and green areas - starting on the Konrad Adenauer Bridge and finishing on the Theater Forecourt. 

Spectators, participants and volunteers can expect a rousing anniversary, a celebration full of movement, encounters and enthusiasm, top sporting performances and a strong sense of community. As a strong partner, Audi is right in the middle of it all - for our team and for our home region.
