Create a storytelling theater and a craft activity for children aged 4 and up

The public library in the Herzogskasten is looking forward to supporting a lovingly designed storytelling and craft morning for children. Picture stories are told, looked at and discussed together. The children can give free rein to their imagination, ask questions and contribute their own ideas.

Afterwards they can do handicrafts or paint together. The children are happy to have helping hands to support them with cutting, gluing and designing and to ensure a pleasant, creative atmosphere.

During the entire time, the focus is on shared experiences with plenty of room for exchange, creativity and the joy of discovering stories.

Telling the story using the picture cards.

Support with crafting (e.g. gluing, cutting out, decorating).

Being a conversation partner and responding to children's questions.

Setting up and dismantling tables and chairs.

An open and unbiased approach to children, enjoyment of picture books and (free) storytelling as well as very good oral German language skills. Volunteers should also enjoy creative activities such as handicrafts and painting with children.

Craft materials and pictures will be provided on site.
