Support the Montessori School Eichstätt in the design of its learning spaces

We are looking for volunteer support for our Montessori school who would like to work with us to make a visible and sustainable contribution to the design of our learning environment.

The Montessori School Eichstätt has an outdoor area as an extracurricular learning space, the so-called youth school, with a school garden, beehives, containers with an outdoor kitchen, etc. A slightly gravelled path runs between the school and the youth school along a field to the fence of the adjacent Montessori children's house.

The path is to be upgraded to make it easier to move between the school and the outdoor area, both on foot and with a handcart or wheelbarrow. 

Among other things, the following tasks are planned, which will be carried out together with our pupils:

Manual skills are welcome, but not essential. More important are motivation, team spirit and the joy of creating concrete added value for children and their education.

Please bring weather-appropriate, robust clothing and work gloves if required. Work materials such as shovels, hoes, rakes, wheelbarrows and loppers will be provided on site. If possible, please also bring your own shovels, hoes, or wheelbarrows.

Refreshments will be provided: drinks, snacks and lunch in the school canteen. 

The plan is to form mixed teams consisting of Audi employees and our students: Two Audi representatives will work together with six pupils. The school's educational team accompanies and supports the collaboration. The focus is not only on the professional implementation of the tasks, but also on joint instruction, learning from each other and exchanging ideas with the young people in a spirit of partnership.
