About the volunteering opportunity

As part of a joint garden project, we would like to maintain, beautify and sustainably develop our outdoor area. The aim is to create a lively, safe and inviting garden space for the children - a place where they can play, discover and grow together. We are therefore looking for committed helpers who enjoy working together on our garden project.

Your Tasks

care and maintenance of green areas and renovation work, including
  • Painting the outside of the painting workshop
  • Replacing and painting the mud kitchen
  • Mowing the lawn if necessary
  • Mowing the tunnel hill
  • Lay grass in the swing area
  • Separate swing area (lay wooden pegs)
  • Trim bushes if necessary
  • Weeding
  • Clean gutters
  • Remove dirt from eaves gutters and light wells
  • Sand the sandpit perimeter if necessary
- Spread wood chips
- Replace vehicle shelter
- Repot houseplants

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
Motivation and enjoyment are important for the care and maintenance of the green spaces. Manual skills are a particular advantage when renewing the shelter.

What to bring

Please bring weather-appropriate clothing and work gloves if necessary. Work materials such as shovels, hoes, rakes, wheelbarrows and loppers will be provided for the most part. If possible, please also bring your own shovels and hoes.

Refreshments will be provided: drinks, snacks and lunch.
