About the volunteering opportunity

Our leisure and seminar house at Jugendwohnen St. Georg Heilbronn offers trainees, families and many other groups a place to meet, relax and further their education. We would like to renovate and redesign an existing room so that we can provide our guests with an attractive creative space in the future. This is to become a place of inspiration where creativity and community are encouraged. Together with you, we would like to make the room shine in new splendor - every helping hand counts!

Your Tasks

  • Take on painting work to make the room friendly and modern.
  • Help lay the floor and create a solid base for the new creative space.
  • Assist with the installation of the ceiling and lamps so that the room is perfectly lit.
  • Cut and install the worktop to make the room functional.

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
You don't need any previous knowledge. Expert support will be on hand to guide you.

The Jugendgästehaus St. Georg, run by Caritas Heilbronn-Hohenlohe, offers more than just a roof over the head for young people who appreciate the offer of accommodation with socio-pedagogical support during their block lessons or during their school or vocational training. With the Jugendwohnen St. Georg, Caritas Heilbronn-Hohenlohe would like to contribute to young people having a good living environment during school and vocational training, thus giving them a good start in their professional life.

The youth house offers young people a room, a personal retreat as well as the opportunity and space to live together with peers in comparable life situations. In this way, young people can quickly find a connection and new friendships in the new environment.
