About the volunteering opportunity

The TWG therapeutic residential community for young women is moving into a new house with a garden in February. Unfortunately, the garden is still rather sparse, but with a little help we would like to transform it into a flourishing and lively garden.

Your Tasks

-Remove weeds and wild growth.
-Plant flowers.
-Build raised beds from pallets and compost.

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
Manual skills would be an advantage, as would a love of gardening and design.

What to bring

Please wear clothes that can get dirty and bring your own work gloves.
A basic set of tools and the necessary materials will be provided.

However, to ensure smooth implementation, it would be a great advantage if volunteers could contribute their own tools if possible. For optimal planning, you will be asked about your specific needs after you register.

Examples include spades, hooks, cordless screwdrivers and above all a brush cutter (brush cutter).

A.p.e. stands for "Ambulantes pädagogisches Einsatzteam", and the Ape, a small vehicle and truck on 3 wheels originating from Italy, is also the eponym and symbol of our non-profit institution for the promotion of outpatient, individual and creative help for children, youth and families.

With the family house Alte Mühle, a partially supervised therapeutic residential group and individual sheltered places and offers of help at home and abroad, we also offer in-patient help.
