About the volunteering opportunity
Experience a special day on the Altmühl: on a canoe trip together, you will immerse yourself in an experience that is both close to nature and unifying. Playfully come together as a team, get in tune with each other and discover new sides to yourself and others.
Working together in a boat is what counts. You will experience how important trust, communication and mutual support are. This day is an invitation to let go, recharge your batteries and enjoy the lightness of the moment, especially for people who do a lot in their everyday lives.
In a relaxed atmosphere on the water, you can try out what you are made of - without pressure to perform, without expectations. Paddling together strengthens team spirit, provides new impetus and invites you to talk and laugh together.
Exercising in nature promotes well-being, reduces stress and opens up new perspectives.
Get involved in a bonding experience that makes community tangible and will be remembered for a long time!

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
You should have a basic openness for people with mental illnesses and an interest in communicating with them. Empathy and the ability to work in a team are also important in order to understand the needs of clients well and to work together as a team. Openness and a positive, good mood round off the whole experience and contribute to a pleasant atmosphere.
The canoe trip requires a certain level of physical fitness and resilience.
