About the volunteering opportunity
We want to beautify our entrance area to make it more family-friendly. To this end, we want to build a privacy screen and cold protection that will shield the checkroom and dining area on the one hand and embellish it with play elements on the other. We also want to set up a seating area for parents with a "swap shelf" and possibly tackle smaller side projects such as painting and decorating and garden maintenance.
Your Tasks
- Fitting and attaching the partition wall
- Fastening the play elements
- Painting the walls
- Planting flowers
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
Some manual skills are required. You should be comfortable with sawing, drilling, screwing, etc.
What to bring
- Work clothes that can get dirty and gloves
- If available: Drill, cordless screwdriver, jigsaw (a basic stock of tools is available, but we are happy to receive additional tools)
- headphones as hearing protection if necessary
