About the volunteering opportunity
Towards the end of the year, some work is due to be done in the oak forest in Köschingen. The Audi Foundation for the Environment is looking forward to have the active support of volunteers.
Your Tasks
The following tasks will be tackled with your support:
1. Getting rid of weeds etc. - Any accompanying vegetation must be removed or cut back. This includes shrubs, birch trees, willows, etc. that need to be sawed off.
2. Repairing the footbridge - A footbridge in need of renovation must be fitted with new boards. This will be done under the expert guidance of a home and yard maintenance company.
3. Talking Tree Repair - The tree's cables and sensors need to be checked and re-routed if necessary.
4. Biomass and Feeding Trace Investigation
5. Fruiting Investigation - The number of acorns hanging from the trees needs to be investigated.

For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.

Da Du in einer ebenen, naturbelassenen Waldfläche arbeiten wirst, solltest Du ausreichend trittsicher sein und beim Arbeiten auf einen sicheren Stand achten. Ebenso solltest Du auf der Versuchsfläche mit grasbedeckten Löchern/Mulden rechnen.

- Please remember to wear work clothes and sturdy shoes.
- In addition, it would be helpful if you could bring (if available) tools to cut back the bushes, etc.
